Reflections from afar

Having decamped from the Canadian dystopia 6 months ago, I have had the good fortune of living normally in Southwest Florida. It is a state that is run by one of the few good leaders presently in power, while populated by a collection of generally sane, healthy and freedom loving people.

Absence may sometimes make the heart grow fonder, but in my case it has definitely made my heart grow yonder. I have almost, but not quite, been feeling guilty living life to the fullest while Canadians continue to hide and tremble in the Covid psychosis that is wrought upon them by the media and government. My imminent return brings dread to me, as Canada continues to slide backwards in every sense of the word.

The theme of this website and its original impetus has always been the damage that the baby boomer generation has been causing and continues to cause in the world with everything they touch. They are a culpable generation obsessed by themselves, a fearful and controlling demographic who are, by and large, a shame to humanity and a scourge to other generations..

The remarkable thing is that there are pockets of sanity where this boomer mob mentality has been resisted. Florida is one of the few places.

I have been silent on these pages for a period of reflection as I lived in the land of the free. I will write more in the near future as I will be back in the land of ‘nice people’ , as Canadians are known around the world. Indeed, nice is one way of putting it…..

The corona psychosis is not the first, nor the last act of incredibly selfish damage that my generation will inflict upon the world before we make our way to heaven.
